Floyd Mayweather needs a doctor. He should definitely seek medical attention for his hearing as soon as possible. Anyone with a heartbeat knows that the fight everyone wants to see is Pacquiao-Mayweather, Yet Little Floyd tweets to the world that he wants to give the fight fans what they want. What they want? Its clear he needs a hearing aid, or maybe a good ear canal cleaning, because he obviously hasn`t listened to anything the boxing public has been saying for almost 2 years.
Don’t get me wrong, Victor Ortiz is a nice, humble kid and a good boxer. He went through a tough time after Maidana and had some sub par performances, but he showed real heart in his WBC title fight against Andre Berto. Ortiz has good solid boxing skills but he is not on the same level as Little Floyd. Besides, wasn`t Little Floyd listening when he was offered $65 million to fight Pacquiao, not Ortiz? I don’t see anyone throwing that kind of money around to see anyone in the ring with Ortiz. Oh by the way, don’t believe the hype either about Pacquiao vs Canelo for $65 million. That was a publicity spin by you know who.
It was clear that Little Floyd would never fight Pacquiao on the soil of an Asian country (Singapore) no matter what the price tag was for fear of not getting a fair decision, He wont even fight him in his own backyard (Las Vegas). When the “Rumor” of an offer for Pacquiao to fight Saul “Canelo” Alvarez arose, it seemed a little fishy that it was for the exact same amount of $65 million. Knowing Pacquiao was already set to face Marquez and also the fact that Pac wouldn’t fight in Canelo`s backyard in Mexico for he too would feel as if he could not get a fair decision should it come to that, was Little Floyd`s way of spinning it back on Top Rank and Pacquiao.
He is clever, I`ll give him that, but it is transparent at times and people see right through it, well some of us do. So for now we have to settle on rooting for the kid from Kansas, the least he can do is knock the wax out of Floyd`s ear for us, right?
